Inevitable Alteration - Splitting the Project

   Dear Fantasyans!

   Due to the unforeseen circumstances, connected with our possibilities to use   the Kickstarter base for such a large project and  that we could not assume, we decided to postpone The Battle of Rinian Project  on October 2015.

   It is just the one and only change now. During our pre-campaign, we are going to bring you all informations as we promised.

   On the 25 th (corrected) of June 2015 we will bring you a smaller project to introduce our models and our world to you. 

   We will have more time to bring you more informations, concepts and wip photos due to this large project - The Battle of Rinian - shift.

   The pre-campaign for both of these projects will be implemented at the same time. Also new web sites for our new project are  created. You can find their menu under this blog – (under the Battle of Rinian  project web sites menu).

   Finally, the concept of our project is done and during a few following days we can run our pre-campaign on various forums and blogs too.

   

   Dear fans, thank you very much for all your visits of our blog! We are sorry for these changes and we would like to invite you to the world of fantasy and adventure.

The vignette with two riding figurines – planned as one of the non publicated stretch goals from the Battle of Rinian project.

Battle of  Irrnon-Sol Terrat 

   In the  Kworgs language -  Ninthion Tarniall, in our language – the Battle in the Death souls Rocks.

   During this battle, two armies of the same race battled together . These were the  Kworgs of  Argera, fighting against darkness on the Red Coalition site coped with their brothers called Dark Kworgs during this battle. But not only with them. For the first time we can see dark legions on Illada. These were the beings from the parallel horrifying world called Bharngstarm. They were allies of the Dark Kworgs in the battle and due to their army The Dark Kworgs could win this battle.

   The Battle of Irrnon-Sol Terrat comes from the later "war for Kenakarra Rose" period. More informations about it we will bring you during our Kickstarter campaign. 

   In a few days we are going to bring you more informations about this campaign and also about the vignette itself, some photos and another important informations.

   Freebie figures and another additional materials will be available as add-ons (next info coming soon).

Battle of  Rinian News

   Now we are offering to you the first look at  the complete "Battle of Rinian" diorama  silhouette.

   The gray figure silhouettes in the background of this diorama  are bonus freebie figurines, which are extending the basic of this diorama. These freebie figurines will get all people, who will choose the complete diorama on the Kickstarter. And do not forget, during the stretch goals another freebie figurines will be available.

   And the next time we will bring you the  promised sculpt of the Elven Paladin.

War for Kenakarra Rose Historical Background - Causes of the War - Chapter 1

Birth of the Black Rose from Kenakarra

   The world of Illada is over the abyss. The noble races are loosing their grandeur. Many smaller nations are dreaming the dark dream about power and wealth. The world is falling apart and many minor and more serious conflicts are plaguing its residents. But the worst events are coming yet. The time of the third Kenakarra Rose is coming.

   Let us go back to the time, when the conflict between the races of Illada is beginning. The Liayates were very disappointed and they started to leave Illada. In that time , none of them took care about the rare magic flowers of creation - the flowers which gave life to Illada. And also another sorts of magic flowers started to die, because the Creators left their world.

   The last leaving Liayates decided to let on Illada – in its part called Kenakarra – the only magic flower. The little shrub of the black rose. This little shrub was the one and only connection between the creatores and the world they created. This rose was also the hope, the world of Illada with its magic essence will go on. This Kennakara black rose should bloom once every 10 000 years.And though nobody could this shrub move away from the place, where the Liayates left it, the bloom, with its great magic power, could be plucked.

Kickstarter Pre-Campaign Launch

Dear Fantasyans, Collectors and Miniature Painters

   Today we start the Official Pre-campaign of our project Battle Of  Rinian – 54mm diorama and vignettes for collectors.

   You, who may know almost nothing about this project, I highly recommend to visit the sites of this project:

   There you find basic information for now. During pre-campaign all news will be presented here and it will be published on relevant website of this particular project. Menu items for this project you can find right under the header in this page, above the main text of this blog.

   During next months  we will bring you many informations about this project, we will present you figures and another historical topics about the Battle of Rinian, world of Illada and about the Kickstarter campaign starting on October, 2015 and other project relevant curiosities. 

   We are going to show you our first figure next time. I tis going to be freshly presented elven paladin.  We are going to show you even a lot of interesting photos of this sculpt. Another figures will follow gradually and besides it you will take up with the promised orc king Rochs and figures for the King Brirthain’s  Defense and the Sor-ran’s Attack vignettes.  Every figure will be accompanied with many WIP photos. Spectacular diorama of the Battle of Rinian will be revealed in the end just to show you its best.

   The Kickstarter campaign starts in 5 months so there is plenty of time to introduce it to you. We will show you how pledges and add-ons are drafted. We will also fancy you bonus freebie figures divided into two groups.

     This vignette brings Brirthain, the King of Krobarosan dwarfs, which were the Orcs allies in the battle of Rinian. Their king did not participate in this battle personally. Today the time came.

We will introduce next Teaser - Battle of  Abdursalla.

   Since May 1st 2015 starts  official pre-campaign of our project . Since this day we introduce to you one figurine each second or third day (Rochs the Great as the first). We will bring you complete detail informations about the Kickstarter campaign together with its final starting date. 

   Until this time we are going to bring you lots of interesting informations.

   In our first Kickstarter Campaign will bring you a large diorama of the Battle of Rinian and three small vignettes.

   Silhouettes of two of them  you already know - "Rochs The Great" and "Sor-ran the Cruel" (Battle of Rosteyhirn).

The Soran Kingdom Warriors

   The Soran empire, human kingdom with King Sor-ran. Sor-ran – sooner : prince of Dartnam – local principality, vassal of powerful Bellforn empire. He possessed of a considerable property which was obtained to the skilful policy, frauds, betrayals and robberies. So he proclaimed his own kingdom and together with a few allies he attacked and they recharged many others countries in the surroundings of his kingdom. The king of Belforn tried to stop him with his strong army, but his soldiers were defeated. But they were alive, they can go back to their empire and bring to their king a great treasure – a few several chests full of gold, lertium and gemstones.

   Galdyst II., The King of Bellforn was pleased with this gift, he understood this noble gesture of Sor-Ran and he also felt power of Sor-ran ´s army, so he acknowledged the legitimacy of Soran kingdom  and he acknowledged Sor-ran as a king. So this is the story of Soran kingdom.

   In the beginning of The Dark War Sor-ran offered alliance to Grokthar empire against the North Elves which were so hated. They won in that battle of Rosteyhirn, but The King of Grokthar was killed. Sor-ran received the offer from the Grokthars to become their king and he accepted it together with the royal crown.

Waiting for "Rochs the Great" and "Rinian Battle"

Many greetings to all fantasyans!

   Publication of the vignette "Rocks the Great" is approaching. We are simultaneously working on four vignettes and the diorama Battle of Rinian (you will see it soon). To help you pass the little waiting, we published other minor progress on the Guiulthan Undead Master on Karsanta the day before yesterday.

   Today we want to share with you something more.

   First of all, we bring you the first pre-teaser picture of other vignette, which will be part of our Kickstarter campaign. You meet the King of  Mountains Orcs from Barskanith in vignette Rochs the Great. 

   But...

   Soran warriors are other participants of the Battle of Rinian (article about Soran warriors coming soon). Their ruler Sor-ran didn not take part in this battle, so we show you this important person of our stories in other vignette showing another battle – the Battle of Rosteyhirn.

   Battle of Rosteyhirn was the first major battle during the War for Kenakarra rose. No-one had known how huge and horrific conflict in the world Illada was coming. The Battle of Rosteyhirn was like the first stone that breaks off the rock and tears off more and more other stones whose stream is turning into an unstoppable storm.

   In this battle allied forces of Soran empire, Grokthar kingdom, Faeltas from Bernitalla, Khabrags and Linguarians assaulted the Northern Elven Empire. Northern Sÿrgonian elves faced them together with their allies. Their allies were namely Barduanellan Kworgs, Mielens, Karbathans and Siphetian Faarnts. We will introduce all those race and the battle during our Kickstarter campaign.

   Our enthusiasm for the project is growing every day as our visions and dreams are materializing.  There was very intense brainstorming in our studio a few days ago. It resulted into many interesting ideas about the structure of our campaign. We have many new ideas and we have to say there is really a lot to look forward.

The Dwarfs from Krobarosan

   The Dwarfs from Krobarosan lived under the ground and they were worshippers of dark deity of Bharngstarm. Since their creation from the second generation of magic flowers were these dwarfs very bad and pervert. When dark mage Sorok died and the magic flows were broken at that moment was created the paralel Empire of Bharngstarm Darkness. From this empire came some frightful creatures to Illada. The Krobarosans started to practice dark magic and they started to worship dark deity of Bharngstarm. They built large underground temples with mines of the precious metals around them. Aktreilit was the rarest one of all. It had magic power which was very important for beeing able to worship dark deity of Bharngstarm. There should be rich deposites of this rare metal in the mountains of Barskanith and there was the possibility to make agreement with Dwarfs. They had the idea that The Orcs of Barskanith could be partners with Dwarfs in the war against The Bloody Elves and they offer the possibility of mining in their mountains. So this way was created the partnership that should destroy empire of Aro-Obeliad Elves who were weakened by last war defeats from Alberian empire.

Preparing of Great Unveiling - "Rochs the Great" Vignette and "Battle of Rinian" Diorama

   Today we bring you  further information about the first published  photographs for our May Kickstarter Campaign.

      TOP SECRET - Great Unveiling of "Rochs the Great" Vignette

   First of all we will bring you so far completely clssified vignette at the beginning of May. It shows a scene showing one episode after the Elven Fortress Nier was captured. It preceded the battle of Rinian (more information we will bring you soon - keep watching the articles - Battle of Rinian on our blog).

    Strict confidentiality extends even to the silhouette vignette. We can only tell you that the vignette will contain a large base and two (?) figures, and there will be available one more figure for complementing this vignette in one of other Stretch goals. For those who purchase this vignette as an Add-on this additional figure will be for free

      Great Unveiling of "Battle of Rinian" Diorama

   You can look forward to unveiling solitary diorama of the Battle of Rinian in June. You know some silhouette parts of the diorama for now. Well, whole diorama still remains a mystery in its overall appearance. Though there are still few more weeks to go, the big reveal is coming ...

The Battle of Rinian - Battle Participants II

Mountains Orcs

   The Mountains Orcs were created almost 18 000 years ago from deformed dark magic flowers by Master of dark magic – Sorok, king of the noble race of The Guiulthans who have fallen in their majesty. When The Guiulthanians were defeated and cersed by its own lord and when Sorok was killed, all his creatures flied in all directions on Illada. The Mountains Orcs used to live high in the mountains and that is why its race created a few of little empires in various mountains places of Illada. There was also one little empire in The Barskanith mountains. This part did not belong to The Bloody Elves already.

   The Orcs from The Barskanith mountains were fearful of The Bloody Elves, so they built their good – fortificated dwellings in the highest areas of the mountains, so it was almost unpossible for their enemies to get there. The Elves two times tried to attack the Orcs, but without success. So they had to respect them as their neighbours. The Orcs did not want to meet them too and so they lived without conflicts for quite a long time. As another groups of Orcs living on Illada after Sorok´s defeat they were afraid of the Elves. Some new empires were really destroyed by the Elves, Kworgs or Farseys. But some empires existed and as the Nobels loosed their power, the Orcs and another Nations of darkness became more and more powerful.

   The Mountains Orcs of Barskanith were more powerful and self confident. When their neighbours  Elves started to change from noble into the Bloody Elves who attacked another nations without any reproaches, they started to leave their mountains and tried to be more powerful and be able to realize their own interests. They tried not to meet The Bloody Elves, but they did not respect any other nation or race. They attacked another empires and their power grew up. Short period before The  War for Kenakarra Rose they were strong and powerful and they had a powerful enemy too. This enemy was the Farseas empire. Its inhabitants had wonderful wings and they were able to fly and attack the mountains empire of Barskanith mountain orcs. They suggested to do it although they could risk the conflict with Aro-Obeliad Elves, who could think about it as about undermine their borders sovereignty. But there was no more fraternity between them and partnership of noble races lost its power thousands years ago already. The beginning of The  War changed Farseas plans and so all the orcs could not be afraid of their attack in future. But they were still afraid of their nearest neighbours – The Bloody Elves.

   An orc warrior figure you can see in the picture is Grashar - rider on a beast with who you meet in our diorama. Unlike most orc warriors armor his is quite luxurious. Though orc gunsmiths were not able to create such armors, their chieves captured craftsmen and armourers of other races during their muggings, who then serve as slaves. The armor they made bore elements and style armor such as any common weapons produced by orcs but it was better prepared, stylishly cleaner and often with interesting decor. Grashar is wearing such armor, which surface imitate scaly dragon skin. For this piece, however, an alternative armor will be available within stretch goals. A sample of this armor, tangibly Grashar’s alternative helmet, you can see on the following picture next to his original helmet.

Why Kickstarter ?

  To realize such a great project like this (54mm collectors dioramas and 32mm game too) is unpossible for us. We can make sculpts, prepare production and all that it means, but we are not able to finance the real production.  It is very risky to realize this project only by ourselves without being sure we will be able to finance the production. These are the reasons why we decided to finance this project by crowdfunding platform Kickstarter.  Realms of Kenakarra Rose, this is a great and expensive project and we know that without our friends, players, collectors and fans support it will not be possible to realize it.

   But on the other hand we know it is a very interesting project and it would be a shame to let it be. It is also some test of your interest in this project. If our campaign will be successful, it would be a great support for our work and we could be sure our work has a sense and figures collectors, players and painters are really interested in it. This way we will be able to prepare the first 54 mm diorama and we can continue to work on our tabletop game with 32mm figures for next time.

   Please, enjoy our project story with us on our blog and we will make you sure our figures are the best ones for you.

   In April we will open all preliminary materials to Kickstarter campaign to the public on these our website and Production blog and also another informations if it will be possible. One month before start of the campaign you will be able to study all its parts, to think what pledge you will choose , ask us for what you would like to know or write us your opinion.

Timetable for the Kickstarter campaigns

   Greetings to all our visitors. We present an updated version of our time schedule and other information.

   We decided to postpone the Kickstarter campaign of 54mm diorama Battle of Rinian till the end October. The main reason of it is preparation of more detailed campaign, finishing of all the models, composing of graphic elements of the campaign, and so on.

   Another decision we have made, may irritate you a bit, but we decided to strain you regarding the diorama of the Battle of Rinian. Because its sculpting goes really well, we decided to publish only finished diorama. Well, if you like WIP pictures, you will not be deprived of them! We will publish WIP photos on our blog and on selected forums after we reveal you the finished diorama.

   You certainly don’t lose regular WIP photographs mapping genesis of large-scale diorama portraying an episode of the Siege of Agrianor. Not only the Guiulthan mage and the Guiulthan Master on his Kersanta will be finished soon. We are going to start sculpting another miniatures for this diorama. You can look forward to the earlier mentioned king of Arnakesh Barbarians.

The 32mm Game

   The 32mm tabletop game will be probably moved up to the year 2016. Well, it is necessary to pay a huge amount of work of it. We are going to prepare many insights into its preparation for you. To get enough means for developing the game, our priority is to work on the 54mm dioramas, now.

Kickstarter Launch  -  end of October, 2015

   The 54mm basic diorama bundle contains 8 figures including Orc rider on a beast and a  horse rider.

   You will be able to choose the entire diorama (basic diorama bundle) for an advantaged value or any of five individual parts of the diorama.

   

   Massive portfolio of complementary / alternative parts  will be  available free within Stretch goals.

   Three expansion  sets  for this diorama  (each consisting of two or three figures) will be also available within stretch goals.  These sets will be offered for specified price as Add-ons. For those of you who choose to buy basic diorama bundle, these additional figures will be for free.

   

   Within Stretch Goals there will be offered another ones. The  three-figure  vignettes  depicting Orc King and his wearriors, Dwarf king with standard bearer and enemy, and  Sor-ran vs. two enemies(more about this characters  and the Battle of Rinian you will be gradually learnt on our blog).

   Well, eventually there will be available the last two extension figures intended only as a free bonus for those of you who would chose the basic diorama. This figures will be Kickstarter Exclusive only.

Kickstarter Launch  -  ?

   The 54mm basic diorama bundle contains 30 miniatures including the Master of Undead on Karsanta and one horse rider. There are 17 fallen warriors of total 30 figures.

   You will be able to choose either the entire diorama (basic diorama bundle) for a special amount, or any individual part of seven parts of the diorama.

   

   Massive portfolio of complementary / alternative parts  will be available free within Stretch goals.

   Several two-figures and multi-figures sets expanding the diorama will be available within stretch goals. These sets offer a specified price as Add-ons but for those of you who choose the basic diorama bundle, these additional pieces are for free.

   There will be offered another two-figure and three-figure vignettes within Stretch Goals. These vignettes are only available as Add-ons. 

   Well (last but not least), there will be three more expansion figures available only as a free bonus for those of you who choose to buy the basic diorama bundle of Siege of Agrianor  and will be a Kickstarter Exclusive.

Aro-Obeliad Elves

   One of three lines, which was defined by Elves when all Creators left. These Elves fell down very seriously in their ennoblement. During the  war for Kenakarra Rose they were called The Bloody Elves. They were very strong conquerors. Only the Alberians were able and strong enough to stop them and almost two years before The great war for Kenakarra Rose began they were victorious in many great battles. The Bloody Elves had to sign the peace agreement and to pay reparations for war damages. Although these conditions were not extremly hard, The Bloody Elves were very humble do to their rout. All nations of Illada had to agree that becomes new age of people and their all times of magnificence is away. The Alberian people empire was strong, powerful, it had great and unique culture and army. It was gold age of this empire. And their treatment and communication with their defeated enemies told the rest of the world that nobility is not only the privilege of  race. And The Alberians became a real noble human nation.And it was the reason why The Bloody Elves were in rage more and more.

   When The great War by The Battle of Rosteyhirn began, The Dark King Sor-Ran won (more informations about Sor-Ran later), the first war partnership contracts were written and the base of The Red Alliance was created. There were also Alberian people with Farseas together in this Red Alliance and they were very active members of it and it looked like The Bloody Elves would like to fight on the side of the darkness. Queen Nighar was really thinking about this possibility for a short time. But she was clever enough to say no and so The Bloody Elves were neutral in the beginning they said no to Sor-Ran partnership too, but as they were attacked by Mountains Orcs and  Dwarfs, they suggested to come into The Red Alliance against The Darkness.
